SPY SHOTS: 2012 Nissan Versa (Tiida) caught on the road!

79

By Evan Hutchinson

The Nissan Versa (or Tiida as it's known in other markets) has made a name for itself offering lots of space and utility, fuel efficiency, and very good looks, for a low price, but it's now getting to the point where it's time for an update. So it comes as no surprise to see the 2012 Nissan Versa being road tested, but what will come as a semi-surprise is the Versa's latest design, which loses the obvious French influence of Renault from the previous generation, and instead appears to borrow very heavily from the all-new Nissan Leaf as well as the current Nissan Rogue.

Everything - space, fuel efficiency, power - should be expected to stay about equal. The exterior design will be a matter of subjective opinion. No date of expectation has been set yet for the new Versa, but expect that in the near future.

Nissan Versa Hatchback rededigned for 2012? It looks sleek and sprty, but can it keep its low price? I might even get on if the price stays realitvly low and the standard features are good?
