Car Town Facebook Guide 3: The newest cheats, high-level tips, and information on decals, graphics, skins and templates
Car Town is the hugely popular Facebook game that just keeps growing more and more popular. As you probably know by now if you're reading this article, you get to race your friends, go on road trips, deliver pizza and sell tacos, do all kinds of jobs that you can do with vehicles, enter car shows, and most importantly, work on other peoples' cars. All this is to go toward building up your own car collection in this game. Use these tips to your advantage, and also, use the tips in this article to maximize your experience points and coins per hour, and to customize your cars to the fullest extent with new templates, whether you want to make them or find premade ones. Enjoy!
At certain levels of the game, you should schedule certain long jobs for the absolute best experience gain and coin gain.
When you're at the earlier levels, for example, you should use the wing install or the paint job, if you are able to check your game 12 hours a day. This will earn you 240 exp per day if you use the paint job. This will also earn you a lot of coins even when you don't play that often.
If you only check it once a day, use the hydraulics, which earns you 162 experience points per shot.
The best jobs for experience come later on in the game at higher levels. For example, 537 exp in 72 hours is gained when you install a body kit. Nitrous takes 24 hours to install and earns you 200 experience points. A monster truck job earns you 118 exp in 8 hours. A car stereo installation earns you 240 experience in 24 hours.
Make sure that you have enough friends to race against for when you get offered your free car test drives (for example, you will get offered one at level 3, and then more as you gain levels). You will need to win a certain number of races in a week to keep the car (e.g. 25 for the level 3 car) and you can't do that if you don't have enough friends who play the game, to race against them
To get the "points bonus" when you're shifting gears while racing, hit shift at EXACTLY when the car hits the redline point. You'll get double the points that way, and if you perfect this in practice, you can even beat a more powerful car using a lesser car.
If you want to create your own custom decals for your cars or work trucks, use blank templates, and use an image program (IE paint.net, MS paint, photoshop) to chop and cut your images and put them into the template. Then, you can apply them to your cars and trucks.

With long jobs, you earn more money if you collect within six minutes of finishing the job (long being hour-plus). If you do this, you will earn 10% more coins for the same job.
To make a whole lot more money off of road trips without spending too much, buy all three of the 4000-dollar cars (Yaris, Pinto, Beetle) and send them on road trips. Make sure you have enough friends who play Car Town to make this worth it. This will maximize your road trip income.
Oh and, IGNORE any "free car town" links, especially the annoying "free car town mclaren F1" link. it's spam, and it's good for nothing but helping you and your buddies get viruses, as well as completely annoying anybody who sees it.

Got to level 40+ in under a month after I started playing car town. Key to levelling up faster is to keep doing short jobs (best would be car wash) while you're online. Then just before logging out, project how many hours it will be before you log back in again so you'll know what long job you'll be putting in. For example, you think that you wouldn't be logging in for the next 8 hours, then you can put in Monster Truck jobs that take 8 hours to complete. Try to do the same set of jobs until you get 5-star mastery for them. That way they pay out more and give you more experience points. The air hockey tables are a big help as well as they pay out frequently. Hope this helps.

A big tip...
When you level up you should spend minimal on things and you should think before you buy. after you progress you should have 20,000+ in +- 4 levels!

The mustang is cheaper and has better performance and is unlocked earlier

i have alot of great tips
so the best way i have found if you dont like doing short jobs for long periods of time, you could do the dvd sytem job (if your a high enough level) when you wake up in the morning, then at say around 10 at night do it again in all bays, so when you wake up in the morning you can repeat again, if not just do the short job method, do car washes constantly in all bays. the next helpful tip is make a room or take an open space in the garage and buy a bunch of hockey tables as these put out the most money in the shortest amount of time, also but the mustage opposed to the camaro when your high enough level, as it has more hp. as for cstomizing your cars, if you wanna cheat you can go to yahoo and look for images for your choice of car and get templates, also buying the pruises to grow the money tree pays off in the long run, the hybrid prius just leaked today as manny of you cartowners know. ill have more tips soon.

A good tip when you have 6+ bays is the nitros install as in 24 hours you get $4750 and .With 8 bays (like me)38k will be made with the nitros install in 24 hours and in 10 days without spending money you can get $380,000 if you repeat this for 100 days you can have $3,800,000 which is a hell of alot. Also 200 exp for each one and 8 bays means in 10 days you get 16k Exp.

you dont have to race only friends to keep the test drive car, just go to the drive in or one of the other places and race the cars that are sitting there. You can race slower pintos and beat them easily. As long as you have gas to race your wins will count. when you are out of gas just wait for more then go back and race. I got free cars (accord and escalade) in two days each doing this.
