As this game is very, very new, cheats haven't really been discovered yet, but there are some tips and tricks you can do to make the game far, far easier.
Practice points are very easy to keep up. The free 40-yard dashes only take 5 minutes, give you 3 practice points, and cost no coins. That's 36 practice points per hour, and while it might not seem immediately important to practice, playing games in the season drains your practice points. So keep them filled. If you're going to be away from the computer for awhile, schedule an 8 hour, 12 hour, or (after hitting level 10), a 24-hour practice. But the best bang for the buck, by far, comes from 40-yard dashes.
Practice is also the fastest way to improve your team rating, because it counts for 1/3 of the rating. The other 2/3 are offense and defense, which cost much more to improve than practice. But there's no need to spend real money on new players - you can buy them using coins that you win in games, or unlock them as you gain levels.
The best use of any expenditure of real money in this game, is to increase your maximum number of Gameday Tickets. This will let you play far more games daily, and tickets regenerate for free every 2 hours.
Make sure to COLLECT your practice points after you use them. Your collection time is equal to the time it took the practice to complete. Collect by starting another practice - this is why a long-time practice is good if you can't get online for awhile.
Use an 'add me' site or add people on 'add me' sites - including the official Facebook page for it, as when you have more neighbors, you can play scrimmages, which don't cost you any game day tickets or count against your win/loss record, and still earn you exp, coins and whatnot just like games will. And if you send people free gifts, you get free game changers, free coins, free fans, and free gameday tickets.
Play scrimmages against all of your friends. Send your friends who don't play this game, gifts. They might join. You can do one scrimmage a day against each friend, which allows you to build experience points much more quickly than not playing against friends.
Save your game changers for when you play harder teams - there is no reason to waste game changers on teams who are lower rated than your team is, at all.
Go to your team tab and click "Assign best players" and automatically, the best players out of your pack will be assigned to the team.
Early on in the game, don't spend any money on anything that doesn't directly translate to better performance. Save your money to buy better player cards, as that is the fastest way to build a better team and win more games.
And save your game changers for season mode champions, top NFL teams, and very tough friends of yours. There is no reason to waste them on any other teams that you can beat fairly easily otherwise.
Just because you've beaten a team in season mode, doesn't mean you can't play them again. If you want to get more coins experience and whatnot and you're out of scrimmages, and you're not quite up to where you want to be or need to buy more stuff, just play against teams you've already beaten. You'll still win the same coins and exp for playing them.
And don't ignore the predictor. Play every week. It's free to play, and you can win prizes and coins that will help you get further, faster, in the main game.

I'm finding that you can only get so far in this game without paying real money. I'm at level 10 and my team isn't good enough to win games - nor do I have enough game coin to buy a gold pack to improve my team.

You can earn playfish cash by doing surveys. Its free and then you can buy better players and get above level 10. I have only been playing this for a week and I am at level 12 almost to 13. 2nd stage stadium lights, team branded and second level for the stands. The trick is surveys.
im a level 18 without playfish cash, the key is friends! u get tickets for playing them and then u can get trophies/ cash a lot faster and easier my team is a rank of 80!
At the moment it seems that whe i go sleep and wake up I only have 4 gameday tickets and the timer has stopped counting down. Is that because I can only get a limit of 4 cards beofre it stops without buying them or getting them from playing friends/season champions???

Yea the natural 2 hour gameday tickets you can get max out at 4 Craig, but you can exceed that by buying or playing friends i wish it didnt stop at 4 doesn't make sense.

To get to the surveys you go to. Store > Playfish Cash > Trailplay > Surverys.

Best tip is to save $$ for Platinum or Ultimate packs. With some of the new achievemants it's easy to make $$. For example, there's a reward for using 10 game changers in 1 game...buy the cheapest game changer 10 pack (60-yard FG's) and when you start a game just keep clicking on the game changer to unlock this achievement.
There's also achievements for consecutive practices, which isn't hard to do at all!
How do you get contracts to renew players?
you either have to pay for them with playfish coins or they come in player packs iff imm not mistaken. i just say fuck it with the contracts and use my backup qb. like it says get all ur practice up to 100/100 ull win everytime unless urr facing a good friend of urs. i always keep a backup player just incase that happens.
I try to play the predictor but I don't know how. It says locked. WHY? Is it because of where I live? :| I don't get it.
Predictor locks once a week's games start. At kickoff of the week's first game, you can't change or make any more picks. You'll find it unlocked Tuesday and Wednesday for sure.

im a lvl 42 and a 94 rating and havnt payed a dime, this game is awesome, and the trick is just play the game like 2 or 3 times a day, and practice times reset at 11 pm central time so you can get up to 3 tix before you go to bed
I noticed that when you are changing your logo and name there is a tab that says "NFL LOGOS" I click on it, but it says "locked" what level do you have to get to to unlock them? because i'm level 28 and was wondering if i could get them when i got to level 30
Another thing that I have done that has really helped me was the collection. Every time I would get up to 10,000 coins, I would buy a bronze pack and collect the players. You get achievements as you collect so thats a way to gain coins and XP.

No, im a level 35 and still no such luck with unlocking the team logo. I havent heard an announcement about them. My guess is you will unlock the team logo once your roster consists of all players on said team.
For example im trying to get either the Cleveland Browns or Indi Colts. I would imagine I will unlock the corresponding logos once I have acquired all players on either roster. Just a hunch tho.

If you want to start earning more money, add on to your stadium. the bigger the stadium the more money it brings in.
Level 43 with a team rating of 95 fully practiced... never spent a dime on packs. Saved up PFC using trial pay, and didn't really need them till i started Pro League 2 on accident and didn't have enuff fans to finish. Look up people to add on FB and only use your 3-4 Tickets that you can get on a timer a day... save the rest for the pro leagues and stuff.
how long do coaches last if you purchase them instead of placing contracts on them? do they still expire even if you purchased them?

I haven't spent a dime on Playfish cash and I am at level 41 with a team rating of 94. It's getting harder and harder to get the right players. Most of mine are rated in the high 80's and 90's with one guy (my running back) at 68 and two guys at 78. Once those guys are upgraded I should be rated somewhere around 96 or 97. It just takes patience, being smart with your game breakers, and balancing out your spending (between players, stadium upgrades and game changers)
Another helpful thing I have discovered (as I also help my two sons with their accounts and I am learning from my own mistakes by having a second and third chance) is spending money, when possible on stadium upgrades. Every upgrade earns you more money to collect every day from your stadium. Regardless of how much you can earn, it completely refills every eight hours. Buying every upgrade means you can collect 1500 gold three times a day. Within a single week that's over 30,000. That's a great payoff...especially after you win the first Super Bowl and start a second stadium. I am benefiting from two stadiums now and am able to reach the 150,000 mark to get my ultimate cards twice a week.
I'm not sure if I'm correct with this, but I think the # of fans you have divided by 10 is how much $ you make per a game you play?

I still play every game every day and very rarely lose because I do not play if my practice points are low and my rating is too close to the opponent. I also have learned to ask for fans every day and my sons and I each grant the request, so I get 250 more fans a day.

Iv been playing for 3 months and im level 25... no real money used... stadium fully upgraded... team rating of 81... about to by ultimate pack. Dont use real money.
When playing in Season 2, don't be in a rush to beat ALL 4 teams in that division. Beat 3 of them quickly, and wait until the time comes close to expiring before you beat the 4th team, because the next division will immediately begin. This will give you time to build money before the next division, which you'll need for more fans, facilities, and game changers!
How do you gain tickets and what do fans have to do with this game, specifically...?
Does having more fans do anything for you financially? Also, when are you ready to start playing against actual NFL teams? About what level will give you success against, say...the St. Louis Rams? And when will the points values be reset, if they are at all? Michael Vick is the most notable player who needs a different value and if they are reset, what will happen to the players currently on our team?
RayRay is absolutely right! i was like lvl 10 when my team sucked and i couldn't beat anymore seasons. i played a team called the bulls with ovr 55! I got 955 xp and 985 coins until i was lvl 20 and unlocked ultimate pack. By then i had 297,000 coins. after buying one ultimate pack my team went from ovr 75 to 81. i got the achievement for team ovr 80 or higher and then bought the second ultimate pack to boost my ovr to 87 with 100 practice! anyone stuck should play the lowest ovr team they can play!

The number of fans don't do anything in this game. You don't earn extra cash from a large fan population, which makes this game extremely silly. Why ask for more fans then?
I have 30 game ticets, all u have to do is when u get ticets in the scrimmages, u only play 4 games each day. 4 example if u have 30 tickets you play scrimmages and u earn 4 then if u want play 8 games u can play 8 games a day and u will be able to pass season games no problem. I am on level 24 and season 14. I have 2 ?'s how do u unlock coachs in the card packs and do u have to get the bonus items to complete stadium 1.

I don't know what you folk are talking about that say you are stuck and can't level up or that you need real cash. I been playing this game less than a month and I'm at Level 24 with an 84 OVR team. I'll post a few tips that seem to work for me.
Screw the stadium upgrades and playing NFL Teams for right now. Stadium upgrades are money that could be spent on packs to make your team better. And NFL teams take TWO tickets to play one game. Once you rank up better, you are getting the same amount of XP and Gold off a game of the Madden opponents and that's only ONE ticket.
Never use anything other than the 40 yard dash practice. I don't even see why the others exist. It's stupid.
Don't waste contracts on wack players. Like Brodie Croyle for example. Save your contracts for coaches.
Concentrate on achievements. Those are free Gold and free XP. Also, you can send gifts back an forth. If a friend sends you 250 fans... you can send them RIGHT BACK and neither of you lose anything, but once you receive 5 gifts you get an achievement. It's only like 500 Gold and XP, but it's free... and you can keep doing it. Get a good circle of friends that are all exchanging gifts every day and you can knock out those achievements in no time.
It was said earlier, but I agree... DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THE LOW PACKS. Save up for packs that will greatly improve your team. Try to save up for the Ultimate packs, because when its all said and done, those will be the only guys on your team anyway.
Whoever said keep playing the same teams you have already beaten... NO!!!! That's a waste. The higher the season you progress to, the more XP and Gold you get for your wins. Playing teams that you have already beaten and netting you 600 Gold when you could be moving forward is money lost EVERY SINGLE GAME. I'm getting about 1,100 game a gold in my 14th season. Why play same season over and over or spend 2 game tickets on NFL teams when I'm getting 1,100 for the Madden games? *Kanye Shrug*

What is the highest amount of money you can get from a single season game? i'm lvl 37 and on season 25, but i only get $1,335. I'm sure you can get paid higher, but how much?
I started playing I was like 74 then I stopped for a while and came back yesterday, and as soon as I log on BAM! Achievement achievement achievement achievement. I get a bunch of random achievements and got 100,000 bucks and bought a platinum pack now I'm 80 haha. So pretty much all you do is keep your practice points up then scrimmage all of your friends, then use your game tickets and play games and save ur money for card packs and stadium upgrades and occassionally game changers. Do this once a day because scrimmages are every 24 hrs. Never done the surveys b4. I'm gonna try when I get home.
yo i have a question. i'm something about level 40, 2nd pro league season, like someone already wrote it's better to wait that time almost expires then to beat 4th team.

my other question is how do i play those collection cars? i own a few cards from some packs, but how do i collect them? how do you drag a player into a player book?? i saw you get amazing players if you collect or own the whole pack..
one more question..when you buy platinum, ultimate card packs..do you sell the old players from your team with lower rating? you don't get a lot if you sell, is it worth to sell or is it better to keep every single player in the team so you "owe" them in your collection?

I'm about to play the Super Bowl. I just used 12,000 and bought 5 kick return TD's for each of them and beat Indy and NO no problem at all. You obviously used game breakers that aren't 100%, lol. If they were failing, why wouldn't you use game changers that CAN'T fail? Some the comments here are ridiculous.
Oh, and I haven't spent a dime on this either. I also haven't purchased a single ultimate pack, just a few platinum packs.

I'm level 51 now and i'm progressing through the 3rd pro-league. and i'm on the 57th regular season. I haven't used any playfish cash ever. the key is patience and to progress through the pro-league's. The rewards for doing so are too good to pass up. If you complete pro-league 2 correctly, completing all the times in time, then after you beat the superbowl, you receive a 99 rated albert haynesworth card. Now if that's not enough of an incentive then i don't know what is. Plus you constantly recieve great sums of coins and xp from pro-league games. Spend your coins wisely and prioritize, buy stadium pieces, game changers, and fans first and foremost. At times when you are in the clear, save up and buy ultimate packs. It's what i've been doing, and i'm doing quite well with my team currently rated 94.
ive never used playfish cash either...ive never even seen the need to, im a level 37, it just takes a lot of patience, and keeping up with the practices is really important, i never let mine drop below 80, using the 40 yard dash's, i save my money for the big packs, it takes time, but you can always get to them, i go through the seasons really fast, im just not finishing the second pro league yet cause i need items i dont wanna buy cause im buying the player packs..
Ive only used playfish cash twice, im level 52, and my whole team except for 3 players(not including limiteds) are platinum, the rest are ultimate or ultimate rated, now i may not have completed pro league 2 correctly and i only got a 91 free agent wr which i didnt need, but i finished pro league 3, i got me an adrian peterson +3, my rating right now is 99 with my limiteds and ap, but in pro league 3, you can get an ult a day if you pick the right card, so you could have a full ult team by the end of the season, and yeah, in my playfish cash packs, i may have gotten a tom brady and brian urlacher and greg jennings all pro, but without playfish cards i still would have a good team as i have some other players closely the same rating
In PL3, after each match u get to choose a bonus card, does anyone know the locations of the ultimate cards? Or is it just random?

I'm @ level 64 with a team rating of 99 and haven't spent a single penny. I found that signing mike tomlin (who allows you to double the coins you earn) the most effective, using the contracts on limited additions is okay but of course they expire, it's easier to get double the coins to buy ultimate packs and get permanent starters for your team

You can increase the amount of tickets you can get at a time by unlocking certain coaches which are found in platnum and ultimate packs. I have spent 0 money on this game and am at level 62 with a 102 rated team. Take advantage of double coin periods and save up for ultimate packs, It takes a little time but its way more worth it in the end.
I'm at level 61 and my team rating is only 95? All I buy is the ultimate packs and have players ranging from 90 rating to 98 but can't seem to move up my rating. How do you get so high?
hey guys im level 23 with 21250 fans never spent a dime, one of the best things i do that really help is every 8 hours i play card flipping " thats when the timer stops and u get no more flipping cards". I just bought a steve smith "Carolina" card for nothing hes a ultimate. and i would also recommend doing the card collections mainly try to focus on the ravens and jets, you get 1 million coins if you complete them. my team fully practice is only a 83 tho. its a all gold team minus one stupid safety lol.but i need a way to get quick money im tryin to catch my friend who has been playing longer than me n he keeps beating me hes got a 84 overall team

You can only earn team logos if you collect every player from that team. So if you collect all of the rams, for example, you would get their logo. That's the only way to get logos.

You can only hold 4 at a time due to the rules of the game. The only way to add to those 4 is to get gifts from friends, beating friends in scrimmages(Don't get one every game though) or spending football cash on them.

Sorry, I looked at it wrong. You don't have to collect all of them, you just have to own them. They can be in your lineup. It lists this in achievements under the collections tab.

Es un juegoque tiene muy buena proteccion y es muy dificil hacer un truco o piratearlo (lagalmente) con cheat engine.

Im at level 30 with a team rating of 90. I think its quicker to get money in 2012 than it is in 2011. It barely takes me a week to get enuff coins to buy Ultimate packs. I play/use 10 tickets a day and I average $1530 per game. So thats around $15,300 a day. Im at a point where the opponent I play are 2-3 ratings away from me so im at a pinch right now. Im hoping to get more money to buy Ultimate packs to boost my ratings. I don't care about my stadium or outlets.. Im also pretty bad at 5x5 fantasy which is pretty much the reason why I haven't gotten any good player. So far the only good player I got is Chris Johnson.

im a lvl 55, 146k coins 0 layfish and still enjoying the game, my tip to you, if you just start out no mater what SAVE YOUR MONEY as long as you posibley clan, get as many achivements as you can they give lots of money, and more for the next madden, do not go into a pro leugue unless u are prepared im on 1.4 and 2.2, iv barely spent eny money on playfish, so playfish is not a need, only for rookie, player of the week, and elite players. i have 7 elites, 12 limited editions, 3 player of the weeks, and 14 rookies, turned in all of the bears players from my collection, so yea suck it
