Backyard Monsters Facebook guide 2: tips, tricks, attack and defense, cheats, hints, and strategies
Backyard Monsters is a very popular, very addicting, and even very deep tower defense game that has been designed to provide months and months of fun, allowing the user to build up their backyard's defenses and breed monsters with which to attack other players' backyards, in an attempt to destroy their buildings and loot their resources. There are many ways to build experience levels in Backyard Monsters, whether by simply building more buildings and collecting more resources, and upgrading buildings as high as you can go, or attacking other players' backyards and collecting loot and resources. There are many strategies to help you win at Backyard Monsters. Here are the best ones for attack and defense.
Successfully invading other yards is a matter of smart strategy, and battle by numbers. Shoot your monsters away from any booby trap you see, but try to fling them to a place where they can first take out the deadliest defensive buildings. Send in a whole round of octo-oozes if you want a quick, dirty monster army that can easily raze defensive towers (since that is what they target). Put a queue in your hatchery while you attack other yards so that you can have more monsters ready after your Octo-ooze crew crushes the defensive towers.
To defend your own base, first of all, make sure your defensive towers are maxed out. Build as many as the game will allow you to build (and in order to build more, keep upgrading your town hall), and then upgrade them as high as you can make them go, or at least as high as is expeditious. And make sure they are spread out enough to defend your whole base, but at the same time, build your base in close proximity to your defensive towers. Don't let anything you build become an easy target because it's out of range of a defensive tower. Also, it's easier to take less damage yet still end up in damage protection after an attack, yet losing less resources, because of the attack being drawn by the defensive towers.
In order to maximize their resilience, place your booby traps and blocks around your defensive towers, in order to prevent not only wild monster attacks, but quick attacks from opposing players' Octo-oozes. Great places to hide booby traps also include above buildings, in their shadow, so they are harder to see, and more likely to trick other players who try to attack you.
Octo-oozes and Pokeys are usually your flat-out best bet for spearheading an attack, simply because of the sheer numbers with which you can deploy them. For one, they take up VERY little space in the monster housing, so you can house a large number of them. In addition, they are very quick to create, so you can set all of your hatcheries to making Pokeys and Octo-oozes, reload your army rapidly, and launch attack after attack on opposing players, gaining levels and supplies rapidly and reloading your army very quickly. Use them strategically, shooting them into an area where there are both supplies (resource creators and storage silos) and cannon towers, using the Octo-oozes to draw the cannon-fire and the Pokeys, with their stronger attacks, to attack the silos and the resource creators.
When you shoot your monsters into an area with booby traps, and your monsters get annihilated, shoot another round of monsters into the exact same area if you stage another attack immediately on the same person, so that you know there are no boobytraps there and your monsters don't get smashed. Or even better, pepper the general area with just one or two monsters, preferrably Pokeys, in order to try and draw boobytrap explosions, and then when you're sure that all of the boobytraps have blown up, go ahead and send the rest of them in. Otherwise, send in the Octo-oozes first to attack, and draw the fire of, the defense towers, and then send the harder hitters in to attack the storage areas.

Another good way to annihilate other bases is a huge ichi attack followed by a huge pkey attack. Ichis take out the towers, pokeys then go unhindered to take out the resources.

the best way to level up without cheat is attacking players with low defense (check their yards weakness and attack from there) you should know your monsters combination and plan the attack.

if you want to get rid of your monsters- dont even bother putting them in your monster juicer
put them in your monster bunker- that way it protects your base

I always have this guy attacking my main yard, and can't even get past my walls. =P When attacking someone, I suggest using 5 DAVES, 2 Zarfreete, (I don't know how to spell that) and fill the rest with crabs. Also, throw some Eye-ra into there, so that you can wipe out some of the monsters in the bunkers.

The best way now is to level up your ichis to lvl 2 or higher, then spam' them as they will attack resource and other buildings after destroying the defences. if u have zafreeti, use it. but always leave a few pokeys in case
