Baking Life is a popular Facebook game similar to Restaurant City that has been growing very quickly recently. It's very similar to the popular restaurant games that are on Facebook now, but in this game, instead of making breakfast, lunch and dinner for people, you bake all kinds of goodies for people, from cupcakes to baklava to many other dishes. You can even make money by baking cupcakes for your friends, and you can earn a LOT of money in this game from helping your friends, visiting their bakeries, and accepting their jobs, so the social aspect is very important. It's also important to have some tips and cheats to use to make the game easier, so here they are!

First of all, use an "add me" site like http://gamersunite.coolchaser.com to get more people to add you. For certain things, such as a coffee stand, you need people to add you. This gets you more neighbors, meaning that more friends can work in your bakery for cheaper wages, and you can work in other peoples' bakeries.
A tip that might seem obvious: don't just add chairs. Add people too, or else your customers will be unhappy.
Earn 300 free coins by visiting friends' bake shops. This is why you need lots of neighbors - there is pretty decent money in this. Go to the bouncing money bag in your friend's bakeries to get it. And if you see the tip jar, that's a free 450 extra coins for you too.
If you bake cupcakes, you will get 28 coins. Bake them for yourself and a friend, however, and you will get 73 coins. That's a good reason to be generous and give gifts.
Make sure you CLOSE your bakery when you're not doing business with it. If you don't, you'll have unhappy customers come and leave after getting no food.
Hire your friends. They cost less than temp workers.
Take recruitment opportunities if a friend wants to hire you. You'll get an extra signing bonus for this. When you work for them, you also get tips, which appear in their cash registers.
Don't let your baked goods get burnt before you can sell them, or they become worthless.
Only buy one chair per table, as only one chair can be used at a time per table.
Put the door as close to the cash register as possible. This lets you serve customers faster.
Cook walnut brownies and cinnamon rolls, and chocolate chip cookies, to gain exp points fast. All three of those will net you 80-90 EXP per hour.
Cook dishes which make you more money in less time for less coin spent. Dishes like the fried donuts, baklava, bear claw, and strawberry rhubarb pie are good for this. Cook a dish that takes a long time to cook if you know you'll be away from the computer for awhile. For more details, use this Excel spreadsheet.
Max out your hype with 4 cash registers. However, 3 cash registers should be enough to average 200 hype. And fix all angry faces.
Another hype trick is when you have a long line that you think won't get fully served, hit "edit bakery" to artificially increase your hype.
Increase your style points in order to make money when you're not even at your bakery. And adopting pets = free style points for you = FREE MONEY.
And when your bakery is closed, used that time to cook 8-13 hour dishes like Baklava.

it is all about having goods to sell.. Cause when a costumer buy something the hype goes up, and when they leave unhappy it goes down. you also need to check the costumers "thinking-bubbles",, sometimes its coffee, then you need to sell coffee, otherwise they will leave your bakery unhappy. it can also be chairs or tables...

can you change your friend's job? i mean, i have a lot of friends working as cleaners and only one as a waiter, i'd like to have more waiters, even if i have more temp workers, a lot of my costumers leave unhappy because they sit at a table and nobody comes to serve them.

um, you said don't just add chairs, add ppl too. How can we add ppl? what do u mean by that? customers? but the just come and go!
also, I noticed that some of my customers look for chairs, and I already have a chair and table. PLus, I added like that comfy chair! What more do they want?!

Cooling Rack is stored in the store, u can place it through there same as any other item. Also if you want to add people from baking life or any game to your fb page create a baking life group in your friends list and add them to that, u can then limit what content on your fb page they can see, such as only see baking life posts. Most ppl just want to click on the requests anyhow, arent interested in where you went last summer and most also have a few dozen pages to hit up each day.

hey - u can get ur hype up by having a coffe machine + cash registers next to doors - also add lots of tables and chairs and always have food in the display cases :) if u put away ur cooling rack, it should just be in the shop

To get lots of money, I put all of my ovens to make Biblinka Coconut Cake. They take a full day to cook, but I usually have 9000+ servings, and from each oven you get 200+ xp. when i come back the next day, I usually have around +$45000 and i am ready for a new batch.
DO NOT put your chairs next to each other. Put down 2 tables. put a chair on one side on the right on the top. Put a chair on the Left side on the bottom.
if u want to level up fast,all u have to do is first earn alot of money, then u go to recipes and click on rasberry chessecake and bake it each one gives u 60xp and also when your'e done, dont wait untill it bakes. it takes u 2 days. just throw it out and repeat for like i dunno like 20 times and you will level up fast. (remember u have to have alot of money!) i got to level 16,to level 17 in 2 days. :]

Why doesn't anybody sit at my tables..I have 2 yet nobody sits there.
There should be a "catalog" for all users to purchase items we need....not wait, beg, plead, and drive other players crazy! Why do we have to wait to get a needed item from a neighbor? We should be able to buy it, or perhaps, do a task at another's bakery to gain points. Please, I think this will help many people. I still want another coffee station too! Thanks for your help!

-i never knew so many people went on it:) no-ones mentioned anything about the sourdough baggettes, they cost lots of money but they get youu 23xp each step and if youu have lots of money youu can just delete them all and make a load more.
