Doomsday Defense - Tower, Monster, Defense, PvE, PvP Facebook Guide: Cheats, tips, tricks, hints, strategies
Doomsday Defense is a brand new, increasingly popular desktop tower defense game for Facebook that combines traditional tower defense gameplay, which provides hours of fun, with Facebook social gaming elements and role-playing elements, which combine to provide months and months of fun.
In Doomsday Defense, you can play as one of three races. The first race you can play as are the demons, who specialize in brute force. The second race are the spirits, who specialize in magic and unseen forces. The third force is the human race, which is the happy medium between the physically-strong demons and the magically-strong spirits.
Your goal is threefold. Number one, you level up your castle and your surrounding lands, using them to gain resources and build your monster army. Number two, you need to protect your surrounding lands by building defensive towers, protecting your lands both from computer-generated enemies and from other users' enemy armies. Third, and most importantly, you invade other players' lands with your own monster armies, in order to attack and ransack their castles.

The activity you will be doing the most is the PvE battles, which is when you simply hit "fight" and watch various groups of ghouls and monsters be shot by your towers. They start off easy, but they can get a little rough. Here's a few tips and tricks to help you become invincible, especially against the boss battles.
First of all, build the right kind of towers. My personal favorite tower to build is the hellfire turret. It does 25 damage initially, takes 1.68 seconds between shots, and is great against boss characters. The Small Catapult Turret is excellent for regular battles and for PvP battles, because each shot will hit two enemy characters; however, it's somewhat useless against single boss characters, because it only hits them once and doesn't do much damage. Therefore, I would advise against using it in PvE scenarios.
Complete quests to earn rubies, supplies, coins and whatnot. However, make sure to ACCEPT any quest you undertake before you try to complete it, or else you will not be eligible for the prize even after you accept the quest, at least until you complete it yet again.
Use your rubies wisely - and by wisely, I mean use them often. Using a ruby will allow you to level up your tower blueprint, which does a lot more good than simply upgrading an individual tower. A level 4 hellfire turret built from a level 1 blueprint will do around 50 damage; however, a level 1 hellfire turret built from a level 4 blueprint will due 95 damage per shot. Best part is, a level 4 blueprint takes just as long to build as a level 1 blueprint - however, forget about upgrading it, because upgrades will take FOREVER on a tower built off of an upgraded blueprint.
Your best strategy for defending against PVP attacks? Easy - use ALL of your gems on only ONE of your blueprints (I recommend using them on either a Small Catapult or a Hellfire Turret; however, the strategy is so effective that you can do this with almost any turret and it will work). Then, fill up your PVP area with steroid-addled turrets.
Wanna stop your castle from getting destroyed early, and/or have more SP so that you can fight battles? Then upgrade your castle as quickly as possible. Each time you upgrade your castle, you will add 3 SP to your maximum, and your hit points will be multiplied by 5 - a level 1 castle has 20 HP, level 2 has 100 HP, level 3 has 500 HP. Do this ASAP to protect against your castle getting destroyed, forcing you to wait around for your workers to fix your castle.
That's all for now! Got more tips? Post as comments!
