Banned from Xomba? Two excellent alternatives for Adsense revenue sharing, social bookmarking and writing articles!
77Are you one of the multitude of writers who have been banned from Xomba? Xomba used to be an excellent tool for making money with Google Adsense and for not only bringing extra traffic to your hubs, but bringing in lots of extra Google Adsense income with social bookmarking. Unfortunately, though, Xomba decided to change direction and ban a multitude of users following the Google Panda update, and authors continue to report being banned with no chance of appeal and no stated reason why they are being banned. It's a big loss of Adsense income for some, but it can be an opportunity. So what are the two best Xomba alternatives for Adsense revenue sharing and social bookmarking?
Ciriya and Snipsly.
Why Ciriya?
Ciriya is a fairly yet rapidly-growing social bookmarking and article writing site that shares 70 percent of Adsense income. Ciriya uses powerful social sharing tools to allow one click +1, Facebook Like, Tweeting, Stumble, Digg, Google Buzz posting, and LinkedIn InShares, all of which allow you to instantly drive traffic to your articles and bookmarks. Ciriya has a built in hit tracker that allows authors to monitor traffic to each individual post. As of now, the minimum requirement for a post at Ciriya.com is 60 words per post.
Why Snipsly?
Snipsly is a veteran Adsense revenue sharing page for social bookmarking and article writing. Snipsly shares 80 percent of Adsense revenue with its authors. As of right now, Snipsly does not offer social sharing tools, but they could certainly come in the future. Snipsly does not have a hit tracker, so the only way to track hits to each individual article is by using Google Analytics. At the current moment, the minimum Snipsly requirement for one individual post is three sentences per post.
One advantage that both Ciriya and Snipsly have over Xomba is that at the time of this post, they both offer dofollow backlinks. Xomba's backlinks were nofollowed, which meant that your page rank and your position in the search engine results pages was not improved one bit by posting on Xomba. Not so with Snipsly and Ciriya.
How would something like this work? For example, let's say you post a new hub at HubPages. Now, you want to build up some traffic to your hub, so you decide to go and make backlinks to your brand new hub. You can go to Snipsly and Ciriya and write a teaser post, with a link to your new hub, and then post it - that's two instant backlinks to your hub. These added backlinks will boost your ranking in the search engines and will send traffic to your hubs.
Another way to use them is in reverse of this. If you have a popular hub, and you want to link to an outside resource outside of your hub, you can post a bookmark to that outside resource using Ciriya or Snipsly, and then link to your Ciriya or Snipsly bookmark using your hub. This gives you a whole other set of Adsense ad impressions from readers who click over, whereas exterior links to outside resources without using Ciriya or Snipsly will give you nothing, unless the external link is a site you yourself own.
Both of these sites, when used effectively, can increase your Adsense income drastically. Use both of these sites in conjunction with HubPages, and not only will your Hubs earn more views, but your Adsense income will increase from your hubs, in addition to the extra Adsense income from these two sites.
So if you were banned from Xomba, or even if you haven't been banned, and you just want an an extra source of Adsense income and backlinks, you would be wise to check out both Ciriya and Snipsly.

Xomba has not only banned many of their old timers, the sad part is they have resorted to stealing the contents of these very authors.
Top authors by earning - yahooo, wathfree, champagnedreams, sametimewatch have had their contents stolen and their accounts deleted by xomba.
Top Authors of repute - taprial, rawnak, jdubhub, dedom, idlewild, AAT etc have all deserted the site. No one really wants to be on Xomba now. Who would want to be cheated of their contents? People have stopped trusting xomba and its staff after the double speaks and fraudulent behavior of stealing adsense earnings of its authors.

I had about 3 articles at Xomba a year or so ago. They sent me some kind of hateful e-mail. I thought something must be wrong with them, so I pulled my content and cleared out my information.
Just because people have a company doesn't mean they are sane - apparently.
I do nicely with Bukisa using Chitika. (I recently got a similar bizarre, hateful e-mail from AdSense and they disabled my account without reason and stole my earnings right before they were supposed to send the check, so I had to find sites with non-Adsense alternatives, as well.)
I've just been doing a search and apparently Xomba is on a frenzy disabling accounts. They are, also, being accused of stealing revenues and content from their publishers. Just search "Xomba disabled" or "Xomba fraud."
Thanks for this info. Voting you up and accolades! More people need to know about this and Google Adsense fraud.
Don't get me started on Xomba, the s.o.b.'s.... Anyway, I like the sound of Snipsly and checked it out. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't find anything about how many links they allow in a post. Do you know? Thanks!

I'm not banned from Xomba, but they no longer allow you to post Hubpage links or from any other content site for that matter. I've tried Snipsly, but haven't tried the other site you mention. I will need to give it a try.
