Guide to Zoo World 2 for Facebook: tips, tricks, cheats and hints
Zoo World 2 is a rarity in the Facebook gaming world - a sequel to an already-established successful game. Zoo World 2's success, however, might convince other social game companies to put out more and more sequels, since this one has been a runaway success since it's been out. One of the fastest growing games on Facebook, Zoo World 2 takes everything the original did right and does it even better. Your goal is to build a big, popular zoo which attracts many customers, and breed and rescue many endangered species, even eventually saving many species altogether, taking them off of the endangered species list. Will you be able to become the next San Diego Zoo? With these tips, you certainly will.
To increase the popularity of your zoo, simply buy more animals. if you want to maximize popularity in your zoo without using up too much space, buy only the more expensive animals. The best way to increase popularity for free is to breed your animals by placing 2 of the same animal next to each other, feeding them, and then clicking on the pair to breed them. Place the nest and then click it to make the stork drop the baby in a sack, and once the baby's ready to "be born", click it. Now, the countdown starts until the baby grows up into an adult animal. The countdown is 24 hours for each of the animals.Once the baby grows into an adult, the popularity of your zoo will go up, but a baby animal will not affect your zoo's popularity. To increase your popularity the most, only focus on breeding animals which are worth lots of popularity - I.E. the most expensive animals you can afford to buy at the time. Buy two of them, and then breed more and more of them, and grow them into adult animals.
Breed and raise more and more of the same type of animal, and you will get credit for each new adult animal that you raise. Raise enough of the same adult animal and its endangered meter will go up, going from endangered to threatened to vulnerable and, finally, to saved. Raise 50 of the same animal and you will have enough raised animals to move the animal to the "saved" list. The quickest animal to "save" is the Callithrix Monkey, due to how few hearts it takes to breed them - it costs 20 hearts as opposed to, say, 60 for some other animals.
Energy is scarce in this game, despite the fact that you can buy more energy using food, rather than having to only resort to Facebook Credits in order to buy it. The best way to conserve energy is to concentrate on feeding and breeding animals that don't have to be fed very often, such as the wombat. They have to be fed once every 12 hours, and every time they have hearts ready to collect, they will give you 8 hearts. It's best to have a variety of animals, but when energy is limited, use energy first on the animals which you don't have to feed that often, and only then use it on the animals which you have to feed every 5 or 15 minutes.
Wombats and other long-term collection animals will make you far more money per collection than your Callithrix Monkeys or your Zebras will, so having them around enables you to earn large amounts of money even when you aren't actively playing the game that often.
When energy is limited, focus your feeding efforts on your fully-grown animals first. You don't need to keep feeding your baby animals first in order for them to grow into adult animals - their growth timer will keep ticking regardless of if they get fed regularly or not, and your baby animals will not give you hearts - only your adult animals will, so be sure to maximize your heart count so that you can breed more and more animals.
Often, a "get free food" offer will pop up in the upper right corner of the screen. Simply click it, watch the ad or click away from the tab, and then you will be given 15 free food. Make sure to click this as often as possible in order to maximize your available energy stores.
